Take Over Payment of an Existing Client Account

If you would like to start paying for an already existing (paid) Hubdoc account, follow these instructions:

Client's Side:

Before you start paying for a client's Hubdoc account, your client must first downgrade their existing account. 

1. Login to Hubdoc.

2. Click 'Accounts' in the top right.

3. Navigate to the 'Billing Information' tab.

4. Click 'Downgrade Account'.

 

Accountant's Side:

1. Login to Hubdoc. 

2. Click 'Accounts' in the top right.

3. Navigate to the 'Billing Information' tab. 

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Under the 'Add Client Account' heading, enter the client's email address and click 'Add a Client Account'.

The client will receive a verification email prompting them to allow you access to their Hubdoc account. Once the client accepts this request, the accountant will be responsible for the payments and will also have access as a collaborator.
